Block Unwanted Calls And Send Out Automated SMS Replies From Your Android Device
Considering the ease in which data can be obtained and shared, it’s not particularly hard to gather a person’s contact details for purpose of spam, harassment, or cold calls.
Neither Android nor iOS – the world’s two most popular mobile device platform– offer much in terms of features for blocking or filtering prank, ad, or just generally unwanted correspondence. If someone (or some bot) is continually barraging your inbox or call log, there’s not really that much you can do, short of contacting your carrier and setting up a block remotely.

This Is What The Inside Of Apple’s Cupertino Headquarters Looks Like [PHOTOS]
Although Apple’s main home in Cupertino, California is well-documented throughout the blogosphere and greater tech spectrum, little is actually known about what it looks like on the inside. Apple is renowned for producing aesthetically-pleasing products, yet we’re always equally interested on what’s going on internally, and for all its coverage, the lack of knowledge regarding internal affairs of the Cupertino palace render it a pretty mysterious place.
Microsoft Bing Desktop Beta – First Look
Microsoft released the Bing Desktop Beta earlier this week. After you install it, you’re given the Bing Image of the Day as your desktop Wallpaper and it provides search features too. Here’s a look at what you can expect on a Windows 7 system.
First download and install the Bing Desktop Beta from the Microsoft Download Center. It’s currently only available in the US and you’ll need Windows 7. It doesn’t work on Windows 8 Consumer Preview.
It installs in seconds. Before using it, you’ll have the option to set Bing as the default search engine in Internet Explorer and set your wallpaper to the Bing Image of the Day. Uncheck the options if you don’t want them. Click Finish.

Soon To Be Debuted OS X “HackStore” Aims To Bring A Curated Cydia Experience To The Mac
Remember those mummering about the possibility of the Mac getting a Cydia-like store? Well, considering the amount of time that has passed with no further updates about the legitimacy of the project, it would seem that we can put that idea in the ‘nice but isn’t likely to happen’ pile. With that said, all hope should not be lost, especially if the release of the OS X HackStore in the next few months turns out to be a reality.

Windows 8, Metro and Nokia Lumia 800
So what’s new and cool in Windows 8?
Metro style UI
Already present in Windows Phone 7 and XBox, the Metro UI design is now also available in the new version of Windows. So your apps that you build for Windows 8 computers will have a similar look as Windows Phone devices. On Windows Phone the Metro look has been well received as rivaling the user experience on iOS and for sure surpassing Android’s. Now the first major change in user interface is available for all devices, computers, tablets and phones. Having a consistent user experience across all devices we use nowadays is a major plus. Microsoft is taking this further than Apple, where Mac OS X is only slowly moving into the direction of iOS.

Windows 8 primed to win tablet war — at least in languages
When it comes to tablets, Apple is far and away the leader.
But later this year Microsoft is expected to unveil its Windows 8 tablet and, in doing so, will quickly take the lead.
In languages, that is.
That’s right. Microsoft recently announced that Windows 8 will support a whopping 105 languages (and I’m assuming this includes the new Metro interface).
This is impressive, particularly when you compare it against Apple iOS, which supports a paltry 34 languages. (Android 4.0 is at 57 languages.)

Next iPhone Coming In June According To Foxconn Recruiter
A recruiter for Foxconn – Apple’s primary iPhone, iPad and iPod touch manufacturer – has been recorded on a Japanese-language TV program stating the Cupertino-based company will release its next-gen iPhone as early as June.
The World Business Satellite showed aired footage on Monday of the recruiter for the plant in Taiyuan, who said Foxconn is "looking for 18,000 employees…for the fifth-generation phone."When asked if the high number was due to high demand for the iPhone 5, he responded,"That’s right. It will come out in June."

Microsoft Launches Bing Desktop Beta, Brings Search To Your Windows 7 Desktop – Download Now
Microsoft has today released a new piece of beta software, and this time it’s search-based. Called the Bing Desktop Beta, the software is, predictably, a beta release of a desktop-based search tool that Microsoft is hoping will give people a reason to make the switch to its search engine, and leave Google behind once and for all.
The app itself is something of an oddity. For starters, it doesn’t really do a great deal other than offer two features, both arguably a little on the boring side and one definitely a tad on the pointless side. Think we’re being harsh? Then read on!
Set Video Ringtones On Your iPhone With VUZIQ For iOS
What could be better than taking your iPhone out of your pocket and seeing that one of your loved ones (or friends) is calling you for a friendly chat? Well, instead of seeing just their name and boring static picture showing up when the call comes through, how about making the whole incoming call process more fun and engaging by adding a song and a music video from your favorite artist or band?
That is exactly what the new VUZIQ app does that has just landed on the Cydia store. When this free of charge package is installed upon a jailbroken iPhone, users can search for and download music videos of their choice and set them to play when an incoming call is received. VUZIQ makes use of both the audio and video of the downloaded and selected file, meaning that the ringtone of the handset is altered to suit the video audio.

Shake ‘n Rotate For Android Lets You Enable/Disable Auto-Rotate With Shake
Landscape/portrait orientation in smartphones is, as far as I know, based on the device’s orientation with respect to the Earth instead of with respect to the user. In certain cases, this can become a bit of a problem.
I use my smartphone when I’m about to sleep / about to wake-up and, in this case, the device thinks that it’s being used in landscape orientation but it really isn’t. In other cases, I’ve found that the built-in sensor is far too sensitive so that it switches between landscape/portrait orientation when it shouldn’t.

Let’s face it, with a smartphone in our pockets, we’re never going to struggle to keep in touch with family, friends, work colleagues and associates. That said, if we could slip on a pair of glasses offering voice activation and line of sight icons helping us run our daily digital errands, we’d certainly consider it.

Apple Will Replace Your New (3rd-Gen) iPad If It Has Faulty Wi-Fi
Apple and it’s new iPad have been in for a bit of a kicking since the launch of the device last month. While most owners of the latest and greatest tablet seem happy, with no faults to report, message boards and technology blogs have been full of issues.
First we had the claimed issue where devices were getting abnormally hot during use, leading some clever people to take to their math books in order to compare the tablet with its older brothers. Yes it gets warmer, but hot?
The latest perceived issue revolves around the Wi-Fi reception of the new iPad – and interestingly it only affects those machines without a 4G radio in them.
