You've got to love the jailbreak community. It has not been even a week since Google released Chrome for iPhone and iPad, and we've already seen a number of jailbreak tweaks that make it better.
We've already told you about BrowserChooser and Browser Changer that allow you to make Chrome the default browser on your iPhone and iPad.
- Pull to refresh
- Full screen mode (toggle with three finger tap)
- iPhone style tab switching
We found it strange that Google didn't implement the popular pull-to-refresh functionality especially when it was forced to place the refresh button under the menu option (due to lack of space).
Full screen mode is also a nice addition. Apple has added it to Safari in iOS 6.
ChromeURL is another jailbreak tweak for Chrome, which replaces the custom keyboard, in case you're missing the top-level domain keyboard shortcuts. While the custom keyboard is a good idea, it was odd that Google left out the top-level domain keyboard shortcuts. Unfortunately, asNisud points out, the space bar is missing from the keyboard, which is a deal breaker if you want to use the popular omnibar feature.
Chromizer and ChromeURL are both available for free in Cydia. Download them and let us know what you think in the comments below.
