Announced during Google’s keynote at I/O 2012 held yesterday, Android OS 4.1 (or “Jelly Bean”) is set to provide those with devices running Android OS with enhanced functionality and “butter”-like performance.
Integrating with Google’s new real-time “Now” service, and carrying support for a ‘Swiftkey’-powered keyboard with support for voice dictation – (even when offline), the software update is expected to arrive publicly, next month.
However, if you own either a Galaxy Nexus smartphone or Galaxy Nexus tabletand just can’t wait to try out the new OS, @stroughtonsmith this evening provides direct links to both versions of “Jelly Bean” designed to run on the aforementioned devices.
