It has only been a couple of days since Apple released the iOS 6 beta, but it looks like the iOS jailbreaking community wasted no time with their attempts to jailbreak Apple’s latest iOS update. Famed iOS jailbreak, MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev Blog has confirmed via Twitter that he has managed to come up with a tethered jailbreak for iOS 6.
However he noted that the final release is indeed far from ready because not only are many things broken in the jailbreak, such as Cydia, it should be noted that since this is only the beta version of iOS 6, there are bound to be changes made to the operating system when it is released in Fall, at which point the exploits used now might not be applicable then. That being said, it’s good to know that they did not have that difficult of a time jailbreaking the beta, so hopefully when iOS 6 is finally released, it won’t take the jailbreaking community very long to come up with an untethered jailbreak solution.Related articles:
